What you need:
- Drawing paper
- Large paper
- Marker or pencil for drawing
- Glue

How to Draw an Owl With Preschoolers:

First, draw a circle for the head.

Next, draw a big “U” under the head for the body.

Draw 2 large circles for the eyes.

Add dots to the centers of the eyes and a triangle for the beak.

Now draw wings on either side of the owl’s body.

To draw the feet make 2 “W” shapes on the bottom of the body.

Draw a zig zag line on the owl’s chest to show feathers.

Finish your drawing with other details such as horns for a great horned owl, add color, etc.
Cut and glue.
When your owl is finished, cut it out and glue it to the large paper. Cut out the “O” and glue it to the opposite side of the picture to finish your “O” is for Owl art project! If you are doing this activity for letter recognition, have your toddler trace the letter and talk about what it sounds like and what it looks like as you finish the “O”.
